About Tango Etnia
Tango Etnia is an Argentine Tango school and Milonga. A space where you can learn, practice, and admire Argentine Tango in its artistic and community-cultural dimensions.
We have been delivering beautiful Tango experiences for over 12 years.
Laísa Souza and Csongor Kicsi dancing “La Bordona” by Orquesta Osvaldo Pugliese at Tango Etnia, London, UK. 19th November 2023
Tango Etnia can guide you in every step of your dance journey. From a very friendly and relaxed introduction to the ‘Tango World’ and your first steps, towards your advanced level, and also to a pre-professional stage of your career. If you are already a dancer or a ‘milonguero’, then you will find a chilled and sparkling atmosphere to meet and dance with many passionate, like-minded people.
Classes
While our pedagogical approach always allows you to bring your uniqueness into the dance, our main attention goes to connection, technique and musicality.
Understanding and remembering structure is important for us too, but we give you a solid base before adding the bricks of dance patterns. In this way, you will have the power to create and recreate your own dance in a nearer future.
Expect a lot of playfulness
Our school seal is known as ‘from inside out’ method, so we love, and we are experts on awakening your proprioception in many different ways. Learning at Tango Etnia will bring you to another level of awareness and understanding of your beautiful self.
Expect a lot of playfulness during your learning process and a lot of support from our teachers and team. Love and joy are highly contagious!

About María del Sol
María is the founder and mentor of this artistic community. She had been dancing and teaching Tango internationally for over 24 years. From an early age, movement and music were her passion and Tango was the family background sound of her childhood in Argentina.
She created Tango Etnia with the highest purpose of inspiring more people to discover the magic of dancing Tango. She believes deeply that dancing tango, not only enriches your cultural life experience but, moreover, allows you to connect with your inner self (body and soul) at a higher level. With this dance, you can develop the finest perception in connecting with the Earth, the Music, and your dance partner, which is truly an experience beyond the ordinary.
